The Furry towel uses specially developed Seibou-Konen yarn (by Daiichi Spinning Co., Ltd.), a high-quality twisted cotton yarn created specifically for towels.
This yarn is made from premium Australian cotton, processed using a unique spinning technique called Seibou-Konen, which balances softness, durability, and reduced lint. Typically, reducing the number of twists in yarn increases softness but leads to more shedding and lower durability. However, this method gently combines two extremely fine, loosely twisted yarns into one, resulting in a smooth, soft texture that’s both resilient and low-lint.

By weaving the towel with this superior yarn and maximizing the pile length using ultra-fine threads, we’ve created a towel that feels incredibly lightweight yet voluminous—a signature texture only possible with yarn of this quality.
While the towel may appear flat upon delivery, it fluffs up beautifully with each wash. To preserve the delicate long loops, we recommend washing it in a laundry net. This will help maintain its soft texture and extend its life over time.
