About Italian Leather "Mayaberry":
"Mayaberry" is a type of leather produced by Il Ponte, a company affiliated with the Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Association. It is crafted using the vegetable tanning process, known as "vegetable tanning," and is derived from the belly part of cowhide, specifically the area called Berry.

The surface of "Mayaberry" leather is intentionally left with a slightly rough and matte texture, resembling the appearance of being lightly sanded by hand. However, with usage, this roughness gradually diminishes, and a unique luster emerges, making it a distinctive feature of this leather. Leather tanned exclusively with vegetable tannins possesses a fine fiber density, allowing it to become more supple and undergo changes over time. It provides the joy of nurturing and evolving the leather through usage.
