About Italian Leather 'Mayaberry':
'Mayaberry' is a leather produced by Il Ponte, a company belonging to the Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Association. It is tanned using only vegetable tannins, a process known as 'vegetable tanning,' and is derived from the belly part of the cowhide. The surface of this leather has a sanded appearance, giving it a slightly rough and matte texture, but with use, the roughness is gradually reduced, and a unique shine develops. Leather tanned solely with vegetable tannins has a fine fiber density, which makes it soften and evolve with use, imparting the pleasure of nurturing and transforming the leather over time.

Please note that this product comes with the Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Association quality tag.
