Bring cooked rice to the table in a Shigaraki-ware 'Ohitsu' (rice tub).
Transfer rice cooked in a rice cooker or clay pot to an 'Ohitsu' and take it to the table.
Shigaraki-ware soil is hard to transmit external heat, so it has high 'internal heat retention'.

Keep the deliciousness of hot rice as is!
The inside is shaped slightly curved to make it easy to serve with a rice scoop, so you can serve it beautifully.
If there's any left over, you can use it as a storage container.
Store as is in the refrigerator or freezer, and when you want to eat, reheat in the microwave for about 2 minutes (if refrigerated) to bring back fluffy rice.
The water-absorbing property of Shigaraki soil is active.
The unglazed part of the back of the lid and the body absorb excess moisture, keeping it from becoming stuffy and in a delicious state.
Also, when reheated in the microwave, the body warms up gently, and the moisture returns from the Ohitsu, resulting in a 'fluffy, freshly cooked taste'.

While it is excellent as an Ohitsu, other uses are also recommended.
You can easily make steamed vegetables by rinsing cut vegetables with water, putting them in the 'Ohitsu', and microwaving for 2-3 minutes.
Since it is microwave-safe, please find your favorite way to use it.
