Kurume Kasuri is a traditional pre-dyed woven fabric originating from Kurume, established in 1948. Operating on a unique setup of 20 interconnected retro-style power looms driven by a single motor, reminiscent of the Showa era, this fabric embodies the essence of Japanese craftsmanship. It features a soft texture akin to hand-weaving and requires an intricate manual process spanning over 30 steps and taking 2 to 4 months to complete. Perfect for those seeking to create meticulously crafted traditional Japanese pieces.
