[Tokoname Ware]
Tokoname is one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan, with origins dating back to the late Heian period.
It is characterized by the use of iron-rich clay sourced from the Chita Peninsula.
When fired to bring out the red tones of the iron content, the clay becomes shudei, resulting in the distinctive color that defines Tokoname ware.
