In 1946, Yotsukawa Seisakusho was founded in Kanayamachi, Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, an area renowned for its casting industry. The company began with the first president crafting vases under the name 'KISEN,' and in its early years, it focused on producing brass castings and mass-produced iron castings. The spirit of 'creating beautiful, high-quality products with ingenuity,' which was instilled by the first president, has been faithfully passed down to the third-generation president and his brother, the executive director, leading to the birth of today's 'KISEN' brand.
