[About Kurume Kasuri]
A unique and retro Showa-era belt-driven power loom, consisting of twenty interconnected weaving machines powered by a single motor, defines Kurume Kasuri. Founded in the 23rd year of the Showa period (1948), it is a renowned producer of traditional pre-dyed woven fabrics, representing Japan's rich heritage. Known for its soft and delicate texture reminiscent of handwoven textiles, Kurume Kasuri is the ideal choice for those who seek to create a meticulously crafted piece with a touch of Japanese tradition.
