[Limited-Time Sale and Factory Tour Set (Assorted Fabric Scraps)]
[About Fabric Scraps]
The definition of fabric scraps offered by Shimogawa Orimono. When weaving fabric every day, there can be leftover lengths of fabric that are not a complete roll due to factors such as starting and finishing weaving, adjusting pattern alignment, broken warp threads, or uneven coloring. These pieces of fabric, measuring less than 12 meters, cannot become full rolls due to these reasons. Similar to regular rolls of fabric, these pieces undergo processes like "hot water shrinking," "water washing," and "natural drying" after being woven.
These pieces of fabric measuring less than 12 meters (some may include minor weaving imperfections) are sold as fabric scraps at a discounted price compared to the regular rate. While they were initially available only through direct sales at our factory as part of factory tours, given the current situation, we have considered extending our availability online due to limitations on factory tours.

[About Kurume Kasuri]
Utilizing a vintage belt-driven power loom setup of 20 connected looms, Kurume Kasuri is a traditional pre-dyed woven fabric. Founded in 1948, it represents the heritage of Japan and features a soft, handwoven-like texture. With over 30 labor-intensive steps, it takes 2 to 4 months to complete.
