This is a retro Taisho-era belt-type power loom, with twenty looms connected to a single motor. Founded in 1948, it is the renowned Kurume Kasuri weaving company, representing traditional pre-dyed Japanese textiles. The fabric features a soft and handwoven-like texture, achieved through a labor-intensive process that takes 2 to 4 months and involves over 30 steps.

All finished fabrics are naturally dried and reduced by approximately 10% through hot water treatment. This weaving offers support for entrepreneurs and is perfect for those seeking to create a high-quality piece with traditional Japanese textiles.
