    It is a Showa-era retro belt-driven power loom with twenty looms connected to a single motor. Founded in 1948, it is the Kurume Kasuri weaving company, representing traditional pre-dyed woven fabric in Japan. The fabric has a soft texture resembling hand-woven products. The production involves many manual processes, taking 2 to 4 months to complete over 30 steps.

    The finished fabric is treated with hot water and dried naturally, resulting in approximately 10% shrinkage. This weaving company also supports entrepreneurs. This fabric is perfect for those who want to create a piece with meticulous attention to detail, representing Japan's traditional textile.

    The fabric has a standard thickness and is made from 100% cotton. The width of the fabric is approximately 37-38 cm, and it uses 40/2 for the warp and 20/1 for the weft yarn. It is sold in 6-meter units, and the price is per 6-meter length. Please note that the actual product may appear slightly different in color from the images.
