This is Kurume Kasuri, established in the 23rd year of the Showa era (1948), with a unique setup of twenty looms connected to a single motor, reminiscent of retro Showa-era belt-driven power looms. We are a representative producer of traditional pre-dyed woven textiles in Japan. Our fabric exhibits a soft texture akin to handwoven materials, and it is characterized by a series of manual processes, requiring over 30 steps and spanning 2 to 4 months for completion. After weaving, the fabric undergoes a natural drying process, resulting in approximately 10% shrinkage.

We are also engaged in initiatives to support entrepreneurs. Our fabric is ideal for those who wish to create meticulously crafted pieces using Japan's traditional weaving techniques.
