Product description:
20 power looms connected to a single motor create a retro belt-driven weaving machine reminiscent of the Showa era. Established in 1948, we are the origin of Kurume Kasuri weaving. Our fabric is a representative traditional pre-dyed textile of Japan. It features a soft texture similar to hand weaving. With multiple manual steps, it takes 2 to 4 months to complete over 30 processes. The woven fabrics are all finished by a 10% shrinkage process using hot water and natural drying.
We also support entrepreneurship initiatives. Our fabric is perfect for those who want to create a unique piece with a dedication to Japan's traditional textiles.
