Our Company - Isuke Shoten Co., Ltd.

Isuke Shouten Co., Ltd. was founded approximately 190 years ago during the Bunsei era in Kyoto as a lacquer merchant specializing in raw lacquer.

Subsequently, they expanded their range to include paints other than lacquer, and today, they are engaged in planning and selling lacquerware, making them experts in the field of lacquer and lacquerware.

Since 2006, they have actively participated in international exhibitions (such as New York, Paris, and Shanghai) and have also ventured into selling lacquerware through their website.

In 2014, in collaboration with advisors and designers from both Japan and abroad, they launched a new lacquerware brand called "isuke.
