Kurume Kasuri is a traditional pre-dyed woven fabric originating from Kurume, established in 1948. It represents a renowned form of Japanese craftsmanship, with a history dating back to the 23rd year of the Showa era. Known for its soft and hand-woven-like texture, it is characterized by the intricate manual processes involved. Creating a single piece involves over 30 steps and takes 2 to 4 months. This fabric is a perfect choice for those seeking to create meticulously crafted traditional Japanese pieces.
