Founded in 1948, it is the Kyurumegumi textile workshop, representing traditional pre-dyed fabrics of Japan. These textiles are characterized by a soft texture reminiscent of hand weaving. With numerous manual processes involved, it takes 2 to 4 months to complete over 30 intricate steps. The finished fabrics undergo a natural drying process in hot water, resulting in approximately 10% shrinkage.
