NOUSAKU is a Japanese cast metal brand. NOUSAKU, rooted in Takaoka's 400-year history, started as a Buddhist altar fittings factory. For over a century, we've evolved to meet customer needs, infusing modern sensibilities into our time-honored craftsmanship.

A Brand with a Century-long History yet Innovative

For over 100 years, we have continued to pursue craftsmanship, unbound by conventional thinking. With a proactive and fearless approach, we blend the sensibilities of our time into the techniques passed down through generations, forging new paths in the field of casting.

Our company was founded in 1916 (Taisho 5) in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, as a metal casting manufacturer. Leveraging the traditional techniques of Takaoka copperware, we have been manufacturing primarily brass Buddhist altar fittings, tea utensils, and flower vases. Since 2003, we have embarked on the development of 100% tin products, offering items that resonate with modern lifestyles, such as interior goods and tableware.

In the future, we will not only preserve and pass down the traditions that have been cultivated over the years but also explore designs that maximize the use of our technology and materials. With an attitude unbound by conventional thinking, we will proactively and fearlessly embrace challenges. We will reflect the times in the techniques we have inherited and continue to carve new paths in the traditional industry.

With pride in our finest products and a commitment to delivering them to each customer, we maintain a deep interest in everything and never forget the attitude of constant learning. We will continue to refine our own sensibilities.
