[About Kurume Kasuri]
Kurume Kasuri is a traditional pre-dyed woven textile produced by Kurume Kasuri Weaving, established in the 23rd year of the Showa era. It stands as a representative traditional pre-dyed textile of Japan, known for its soft and handwoven-like texture. The production process involves many manual steps and takes 2 to 4 months to complete, making it ideal for those who want to create meticulously crafted pieces that embody Japanese tradition.

[Weaving Characteristics]
"Standing Kasuri" (Tatekasuri), which expresses patterns solely through warp threads, is also referred to as "Itagasuri" (Itagasuri). Patterns are designed by combining 1 to 6 different binding patterns.

[About Yoroke Stripe]
Yoroke Stripe: A pattern created with gracefully curving lines, forming stripe-like motifs. Various techniques, including curving the weaving threads themselves or using printing, are used to achieve this. Yoroke Stripe, an original creation by Shimogawa Orimono, leverages the unique "binding" technique of Kasuri. Born from a fresh perspective departing from traditional methods, Yoroke Stripe embodies concepts of rebirth, transformation, and innovation.
