Hideki Araki handcrafts this stunning White Satsuma Shochu Pre-mix Bottle. Designed for those who appreciate the art of shochu, this bottle allows you to pre-mix your spirit with water to your preferred strength, enhancing its flavor profile over time. The delicate, hand-carved engravings transform this functional vessel into a sophisticated interior accent. Pouring your pre-mixed shochu from this bottle into a cup or glass deepens the aroma and taste, turning your daily ritual into a premium experience.

Each bottle carries the artisan's spirit. Because every piece is handmade, you will enjoy unique variations in shape and color that signify true craftsmanship.

[White Glaze]
- What is White Satsuma?
Known as "Shiromon," White Satsuma originated as the official pottery for the Satsuma lords at the Naeshirogawa kiln. Artisans mold white clay and apply a transparent glaze, resulting in its signature fine surface crazing.
- What is "Kannyu" (Crackle Patterns)?
Kannyu is a hallmark of White Satsuma beauty. These crackle-like lines occur during the firing process due to the different expansion rates between the clay and the glaze. These patterns reflect light to create a variety of elegant textures.
* Tannins found in coffee and tea react with the ceramic body over time, allowing you to enjoy a beautiful aging process. To preserve the brilliance of the crackle patterns and slow the color change, wash the bottle promptly after use and dry it completely.

[Black Glaze / Soba Glaze]
- What is Black Satsuma?
Affectionately known as "Kuromon," Black Satsuma features a bold black glaze. While White Satsuma served the nobility, Black Satsuma evolved as a durable and beloved daily ware for the people.
- Naeshirogawa Ware
This represents the oldest and most historic of the three surviving lineages of Satsuma ware. It is a registered trademark of the Araki Pottery Kiln.
- About Soba Glaze
The 14th-generation master, Kanjiro Araki, dedicated his life to developing this unique, natural glaze.
