[About Kurume Kasuri]
Kurume Kasuri is a traditional pre-dyed textile known for its handwoven-like soft texture. The production involves a collection of 20 belt-driven power looms connected to a single motor, creating a retro Showa-era setting. Established in 1948, Kurume Kasuri is a representative traditional pre-dyed textile of Japan. Its manufacturing process requires extensive manual labor, taking 2 to 4 months and involving over 30 steps to complete.

[Weaving Characteristics]
The warp (vertical threads) uses fine yarn known as 60/2, complemented by color combinations in both vertical and horizontal directions, creating a chambray effect that results in a fabric with a glossy finish. The 2-ply series showcases an original and distinctive weaving pattern, achieved by innovative winding techniques in the weft (horizontal threads).

Please note that the chambray effect causes color perception to vary depending on light angles and fabric orientation.
