Product description:

This is a traditional craft from the southern part of Iwate prefecture. It features an elegant design that never gets tiresome. The interior is lacquered. While the lacquer may wear off with use, the iron kettle is resistant to rust thanks to the minerals, calcium, and other elements in tap water. This makes it easy to replenish iron levels and prevent anemia. Additionally, boiling water in an iron kettle removes chlorine, giving ordinary tap water a mellow taste. Japanese tea and coffee, among other drinks, can be brewed deliciously with this kettle. It is compatible with "IH" (induction heating) as the bottom is flat, allowing it to work on both direct fire and induction cooktops. Because iron products are incredibly durable, they make excellent gifts for various occasions, including Father's Day and Mother's Day.
