Product description:
Bankoyaki earthenware is a traditional pottery produced in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, Japan. It is renowned for its exceptional heat resistance and heat retention characteristics, and is particularly famous for its kyusu (teapot) and earthenware pots that make use of these qualities. The GINPO Kikka earthenware pots feature lids designed in the shape of chrysanthemum flowers, and they are suitable for both Japanese and Western cuisines. With their high heat resistance and heat storage properties, these pots can maintain the temperature of food for a considerable time after being removed from the heat source. Furthermore, these pots do not require the initial "Medome treatment" often necessary with new pots, and they are resistant to absorbing cooking odors.
Ideal size for 1 person.
