Product description:
Banko-yaki earthenware is a traditional pottery produced in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, Japan. Banko-yaki is known for its exceptional heat resistance and heat retention characteristics, and it has gained fame for its kyusu (teapot) and earthenware pots that make the most of these features. The GINPO Kikka earthenware pots, adorned with lids resembling chrysanthemum flowers, are versatile for both Japanese and Western cuisines. Their remarkable heat resistance and heat storage properties enable them to maintain the temperature of food for a considerable time even after being removed from the heat source. These pots do not necessitate the initial "Medome treatment" that is typically required, and they are also resistant to absorbing cooking odors.
Ideal for serving 3-4 persons.
