[About Kurume Kasuri]
Showa retro -tailed power loom in which 20 looms connected from one motor operate.
It is Kurume Kasuri Omoto, founded in 1945.
It is a traditional tube fabric that represents Japan.
It features a soft texture close to hand -woven.
There are many manual processes, and it takes 2-4 months to woven 30 processes.
The woven fabric is all about 10 % of the woven sources in hot water and natural drying.
It is a perfect textile for those who want to produce a special dish with traditional Japanese textiles.
[Features of weaving]
4 Uses a loom that weaves an old -fashioned check pattern called a weaving machine. Weave slowly at low speeds, even though it is a power loom. A soft texture is realized by working with a loose tension so that the thread is consistently stressed from the sutra stage. The weft is a yarn that changes its thickness, which is called uneven yarn called uneven yarn. This creates a subtle unevenness on the surface and a subtle color shade, and has a soft expression while combining a strong contrast color.
